I’m a high school teacher in the projects that spends her summers as a summer camp counselor. One of the most enjoyable aspects of summer camp is pranks. I love playing pranks and even get a kick out of the “revenge” pranks I suffer. lol. Harmless pranks and naughty harsher ones a part of the fun when you decide to walk on the wild side of pranking mischievous young ladies. As the old saying goes, when you play with glue someone you get stuck.

The first day I was a newbie camp counselor about 28 years ago, I walked down the steps of my cabin and into a bucket of sticky tar. I retrieved my foot, but left my bobbie sock and sneaker behind. At that point, I understood the lay of the land, proceeded to “get revenge,” and never looked back. lol. The 30 something year old soccer mom that set the tar trap found her 1976 Ford station wagon sitting on its rims alone. Little did she know that her relatively new tires were being used as rope swings on an oak tree. lol. Now how I pulled that off is another story in and of itself.One of the activities I covertly participate in is primarily pranks played upon the other young camp counselors. It’s hard to play pranks and not brag to anyone at camp; therefore, I relish the opportunity to tell a story or two via the internet.

As a counselor with a degree of seniority, I have keys to everything and know the camp well.  Good prank is putting itching powder in between sheets. Some girls could not understand why they did not get a good night’s rest. lol. Another prank I’ve performed many times is cutting shoe laces almost completely in half. When attempting to tie, the laces break in half. They had to tie them in knots to lace up. One last prank was to mix up all of the girls clothes between cabins. One t-shirt would be in another’s luggage, etc. A size 6 shoe would be matched with a similar size 7 1/2 shoe in another cabin. This drove the girls nuts. Some may think that I’m crazy (and i probably am crazy lol); however, we all have a great time each summer. Moreover, I suffer my own share of similar pranks each summer. My hot little Mustang GT is usually a good target for the girls. Last summer, the girls completely smeared peanut butter all over her. Even though it did not hurt the paint, I’m still cleaning the goo off. lol. At least they did not put a dead fish under the seat again. The smell takes forever to go away. lolol. I deserve it though.

1. In a drawer
Preferably one that is frequently used, otherwise you may have to wait a while…

2. In the sink
Doing the dishes has never been this scary.

3. In the dishwasher
Don’t wash the snake, just put it in there and wait for the next time someone is going to put something in or empty it.

4. In the toilet
There is always that fear of snakes climbing the sewers, make it happen!

5. Over a door
Pretty similar to the classic bucket of water prank, except this time with a snake – the door opens and the snake falls down. Or if you really feel like hitting it big time – make it a bucket full of snakes!

6. In the copy machine
This one is especially great for offices. People might expect to find paper when they open it, but not snakes. In this case you might want to use a smaller one though.

7. In the elevator
Just leave it randomly on the floor, and the next person entering is sure to get a scary surprised.

8. Half way out of the ventilation
Most office buildings have some kind of ventilation system. And the ventilation openings on the walls or in the roof make for great spots to place a snake – almost like it is about to come out of the opening.

9. In the car
You can leave it both on the seat or on the floor, though you should consider the risk of your victim spotting it before they enter the car when placing it.

10. In bed
This one is epic, and in many places in the world there is in fact an actual chance of this happening for real. *shivers*

This is what you do:

During the night, or early in the morning, move the car from where it was last parked. You can move it around the corner or just behind the garage. It doesn’t really matter where, as long as it is out of sight.

Now you can either wait for your parents to do the discovery themselves, or you could make a scene by telling them. It is up to you. But whatever you choose, make sure to let them know it’s an April fools prank before they call the police!

It may seem like a very innocent prank, but trust me, if you know someone who is a real neat-freak, someone who needs everything to be perfectly tidy and in order, this prank is bad enough!

Give your friends and family a nice start to the day by getting them up a couple of hours earlier or later than what they normally do. Reset all the clocks and prepare for total chaos!

Note that for this prank to really work it is kind of important that you do as many clocks as you possibly can. The more thorough you are, the better the odds are that you will pull this one off.

Here is what you have to do; take a normal liquid soap dispenser, switch the liquid soap with olive oil or some sort other cooking oil.

Really simple, really cheap, and really funny!

All you need for this prank is an opened soda can or juice bottle. Basically some kind of drink that is kept in the fridge and people drink on a regular basis, and of course some salt.

Add some salt to the opened bottle or can, the more slat, the bigger the reaction – so exactly how much to use is up to you. Stir or shake the liquid a little to make sure all the salt dissolves, and you are good to go!

 This is what you need:

• Sugar shaker (or whatever the sugar is kept in) 
• Salt

 This is what you do:

1. Empty the sugar shaker

2. Fill it with salt instead

3. Wait for a situation where someone uses it

4. Take a picture

What’s so great about this prank is that it can be done anywhere. It’s an excellent April fools prank, but it is also works great in the office.
